This tiny clit vibrator isn’t the strongest vibrator out there, which might be a drawback to some but it’s another reason I chose this as the best clit vibrator for beginners. That being said, our experience reviewer Edie, still enjoyed the vibrations.

In my years as a sex toy reviewer, this has to be the first time I’m so surprised that a product is so cheap — it’s usually the other way around!

This is one case where you can save money without skimping on pleasure as it ticks all of the boxes for a great clit vibrator — decent vibrations, easy to use, quality silicone, and it even comes with a lovely storage bag and braided cable for an extra bit of luxury!

It does only have 5 intensity settings and doesn’t have any patterns. Personally, this wouldn’t bother me as I’m not such a fan of patterns, but that comes down to personal preference.

Why I Chose It

The Lelo Dot is easily one of my favorite clit vibrators in my whole collection. I love how the soft, flexible silicone tip flutters back and forth giving more of stroking sensation than traditional vibrations.

There are two reasons I chose the Dot as the most discrete clit vibrator, the first being just how quiet this thing is! It’s the quietest vibrator I own, and I would happily use it with someone in the next room without fear of being heard!

The second is the design! Not only is it super beautiful, but it’s also very ambiguous looking. I often have it sitting out on my bedside table and wouldn’t worry about anyone knowing what it is. Although, saying that, my friends know me, so they tend to assume any ambiguous object in my house is a sex toy!

While I’m usually a broad stimulation kinda gal, there is something uniquely pleasurable about the very pinpoint stimulation of the Dot’s flickering tip.  After a bit of use, I was also able to pinpoint the most sensitive part of my clitoris, which was an interesting experience!

That being said, if you know you need a lot of pressure to climax, I wouldn’t go for the Dot and go for a more solid vibrator instead.

I also love how easy the Lelo Dot is to use! I particularly enjoy using it over my whole vulva for some warm-up. In use, the three button controls and finger loop are a breeze to use, and it’s waterproof so clean up is hassle-free! I tend to grab it when I just want a quick and easy self-pleasure sesh!

I wanted to include a clit vibrator that delivers the broad stimulation of a wand but in the body of a small clit vibrator. The Ava was the perfect choice!

Why I Chose It

However, in this case, I think Satisfyer have made some really cool additions that genuinely upgrade your pleasure and even better, it doesn’t cost that much more than the original!

The first upgrade, and my probably my favorite, is the very simple addition of a silicone cap that covers the stimulation mouth, so instead of pulses of air, you get a direct contact from the silicone cap pulsing against your clitoris.

The Liquid Air silicone cap was also Rachel’s favorite feature. She even commented it was the closest sensation she’s found to oral sex.

“It’s like a soft, fluttering tongue that you can tease your clitoris with or press down for satisfyingly firm pressure. With a generous dollop of lube, the deep, rumbly stimulation is similar to oral sex in many ways and is oh-so pleasurable.” 

Unlike the original model, this one also has added vibrations. Unfortunately, these weren’t such a hit for Rachel as she found them a little buzzy for her liking.

“Like I mentioned, the vibrations are sub-par, but I don’t feel like that detracts from the overall performance of the toy.”

Luckily, you can choose to use the suction with or without the vibrations, so this doesn’t have to be an issue.

The third upgrade is that the Satisfyer Pro Generation 3 comes with app capabilities. Even though Rachel admits she’s not so into using app controls she gave it a go and was impressed by how easy it was to connect and navigate the app controls.

Having used bad apps before, this is a big plus in my books, as there is nothing less sexy than technical problems!
